Terms of use

What Tiplah does

• Tiplah gives streamers a page where viewers can tip, and shows each paid tip as an alert on stream.
• Every tip is paid through the streamer's own payment gateway account (ToyyibPay for now) and goes straight into it. Tiplah never receives, holds or pays out tip money.
• Tiplah isn't a bank, an e-wallet or a payment gateway. The gateway processes each payment under its own terms.

If you're a streamer

• You must be 18 or older, and the payment gateway account you connect must be in your own name.
• Keep your login and your overlay URL private. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• You're responsible for your page, your stream and the tips you receive, including any tax on them.
• Your gateway charges its own fee on each tip (RM1 at ToyyibPay today), and it comes out of the tip.
• Tips are gifts. Don't use Tiplah to sell goods or services, run gambling or lucky draws, raise money under false pretences, or for anything illegal.
• You can close your account at any time by contacting us.

If you're tipping

• A tip is a voluntary gift to the streamer. It doesn't buy anything from the streamer or from us.
• Tips start at RM5 and can't be refunded. If a payment went wrong or you think it's fraud, contact your bank or e-wallet and the payment gateway; we'll help where we can.
• The name and message you add may be shown on stream and on the streamer's page. Leave the name empty to tip as Anonymous.
• Don't write anything abusive, hateful or illegal in your message. Streamers can block words and hide messages.
• If you're under 18, ask a parent or guardian before you tip.

Plans and prices

• Tiplah never takes a cut of tips.
• Free covers up to RM300 in paid tips a month. Pro costs RM15 a month and has no limit. Founding streamers keep RM9 a month while they stay subscribed.
• If a Free page passes RM300 in a month, its tips and alerts keep working for the rest of that month, and we'll ask the streamer to move to Pro for the next one.
• We'll tell you by email before we change a price you pay.

Paying for Pro

• Pro is prepaid. You choose 1, 3, 6 or 12 months on Plan & billing and pay once, by FPX or DuitNow QR through ToyyibPay. It never renews or charges you by itself, and we'll email you before it ends.
• Paying again while Pro is running adds the new months after your current end date. Pro ends at the end of its last day, Malaysia time.
• Payments aren't refunded, unless we fail to provide Pro (for example, if Pro features are down for a long time). Then we refund the months you couldn't use.
• The Founding price (RM9 a month) is for the first 20 streamers to pay for Pro. It stays while your Pro keeps running. If Pro ends and isn't renewed within 7 days, the place goes to someone else.
• Payments go to VoidDot Studio, and a receipt is emailed to your account's address.

Your content

• You keep the rights to what you put on your page: your name, photo, bio and links. You let us show it on Tiplah, in alerts and in the dashboard so the service works.
• Only post what you have the right to use. Nothing illegal, hateful or sexual, and nothing that pretends to be someone else.
• Anyone can report a page with the "Report this page" link at the bottom of it.

When we can suspend a page

• We can hide or suspend a page that breaks these terms, that we're told is being used for fraud, or that puts viewers at risk. Where we can, we'll tell the streamer why first.
• When the law requires it, we share information with the payment gateway or the authorities.

Our responsibility

• We work to keep Tiplah running, but we provide it as it is. Alerts depend on your internet, OBS, your streaming platform and the payment gateway, so we can't promise every alert or payment will always work.
• As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, or for losses caused by payment gateways, banks, streaming platforms or your own equipment. For a streamer, our total responsibility is limited to what they paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
• Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Malaysian law that can't be taken away.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we'll tell streamers by email or in the dashboard before they apply. The date at the top shows the current version.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia handle any dispute.
